A Tisket A Tasket A Cricut Easter Basket

For my Cricut class this month I created this super cute Easter basket. The basket is from Tags Bags Boxes and More. The front of the bask (above) has flowers and a tag from the Mother's Day seasonal cartridge, butterflies from a Martha Stewart punch and an egg stamp from the dollar stamps at Michael's. The grass all the way around was done with a paint dabber. The flowers on the rest of the box are from Walk In My Garden. You can find a tutorial on how to make the dimensional ones here:
I used Terrifically Tacky Tape to adhere the eyelet lace around the inner edge and the bunny was also a dollar stamp from Michael's. I will have step by step instructions available next week. If you would like a copy leave a comment with your email or email me at

A Little Fall

So I know it's spring, but Cards magazine had a call for fall cards and I decided to give it a try. I've never submitted anything for publication, so I figured why not! For the background I used Distress Inks, then stamped over them with one of the new Hero Arts background stamps and dusted it with Perfect Pearls. The tree stamp is from Inkadinkado and "autumn" is a Studio G stamp. For the border I used an EK Success punch, then added the ribbon and button to finish it off. Cross your fingers, maybe it will get picked! Check back later this week for my adorable Easter Cricut project!

My New {ippity} Stamps

So last week I purchased 2 {ippity} stamp sets from Kelly over at
Let me tell you how fabulous her customer service was. My order was shipped in the mail the day I ordered and I had my stamps in 3 days! Not only was her shipping super fast she included a cute little thank you card hand written to me and when I left a thank you on her blog she responded by commenting on mine. so if you love Unity Stamps be sure to head over to Kelly's blog and check out {ippity} Thanks again Kelly for being so wonderful!
These sets are so cute I just couldn't wait to use them. The background was done using Tim Holtz Distress Inks (I now have all the new colors) and the "Where You Should Be" set from {ippity}. This set has 7 great stamps that I am sure I will get a lot of use out of. The "hi" sentiment is a Unity stamp from "Little Buggers" set and the little scalloped border is from the {ippity} "Sweet Thoughts of Spring" set. The spring set has 4 of these cute scalloped borders along with a super cute bunny, baby chick and an Easter basket. Tomorrow I have another card to post that I made to submit for a magazine call so be sure to check it out and let me know what you think!

Kaisercraft's Peachy Keen Card Set

Have you seen the new Peachy Keen papers from Kaisercraft? I just love them the colors and patterns are so pretty. My other love lately has been making card sets rather than single cards, so what better way to combine the two than with this cute set! All of the patterned paper are form the Peachy Keen line, as well as the felt flowers. I used the Cuttlebug to emboss the ivory background pieces and EK Success and Martha Stewart punches for the decorative edges. The sentiment stamps are from Unity Stamp Co. and Studio G and the copper butterfly is from Making Memories. Thanks for looking!
