Simple Fall Layout

This was our day at the pumpkin patch 2 years ago. There were son many cute pics that day I think I ended up with 3 two page layouts. I meant for the pages to mirror each other so that the orange strip on the left should have been to the outside, but trying to scrap with 2 boys saying "Mom!" every 5 seconds your brain doesn't always do what you want it to. Anyway it still turned out pretty good. Hope you like it!

Vintage Layout

This is a layout I did of my mom and uncle when they were kids. The paper was from Michael's a long time ago. I made the bandanna by folding a scrap piece and the other embellishments are Jolee's I think. No Cricut on this one though. I know shame on me. LOL!

All Hail King Brayden!

So my youngest has had a thing for crowns and hats lately. It started with the animal hats at Michaels and then to the paper crowns that Burger King gives the kids. Well the other day he ripped his BK crown and was wanting me to take him there just to get another one. There was no way I was driving across town for a paper crown so I told him I would make him one. Gotta love my Cricut! I used Indie Art to cut out the crown and then attached 2 strips of paper to it to make the band for his head. Voila! Happy kid!

Great Grandma

This is a layout I created of my great grandmother. It took me a whole week to finish because I just couldn't seem to get it right. I can't count how many times I sat down at my desk and then got up and walked away from it. The paper is K & Co. and Bazzill and the only cartridge I used was Storybook (love that cartridge). The flowers are Jolee's cuz I was too lazy to make my own. LOL! Yes I know the T is crooked :) Fixed it today just didn't take another pic.

Sex & the City Inspiration

This is one of my newest layouts. Amazingly its one of myself! It was inspired while I was watching Sex & the City. The paper was from a Me & My Big Ideas stack. I added the ribbon stripes and bows. The cityscape is from Plantin Schoolbook, the marquee is from Storybook and the stamps are Autumn Leaves.

Sleeping Princess

This is a layout of my beautiful niece. It reminded me of Princess and the Pea so I wanted it to look very Fairy Tale like. The paper is DCWV Once Upon a Time stack. I don't remember who the title was from though. The stamps down the side are "Swirls" from Autumn Leaves.

SSPT Challenge "Polka Dots"

Here is my project for the current Sugar Sweet Paper Treats Polka Dot challenge. The paper was from an older DCWV stack. The pictures are my youngest (who's now almost 5) when he was less than a year old.

Birthday Bash!

Today was an exhausting day! And its only 4:30! We had my son's 10th birthday party today at one of our local parks. The weather was amazing (for here anyway) and he had a great time. His dad and him had an icing fight and the poor kid looked something like the Joker when they were done. LMAO! It was great. Then after all the cake and presents the whole group had a huge water fight which I managed to stay out of until the end. All in all it was a pretty good day. The kiddo had fun and that's all that really matters. :)

Had to add a pic of the cake aftermath.

Cards Galore!

So I've been on a roll with cards lately. It started with a birthday card for a friend and then mother's day cards and then another birthday card and well here ya go! All of the cards themselves were cut with Wild Card.

The first one is a birthday card. The paper is Me & My Big Ideas, the flower is Prima (too lazy to make my own lol), the marquee shape is from Storybook.
Another card without a purpose. The flourish is from Home Decor and the paper is Bazzill Bling

A mothers day card for my grandma. The flower is from Plantin Schoolbook and the letters are from Storybook.

A very simple mother's day card I made for my mother in-law. The hearts are Home Decor and the letters are Storybook
The last thing I made is a box (thank you Okie) for a friends birthday that I filled with lots of embellishments.

New Cards

So while I didn't get a whole lot done this weekend, I did manage to get 2 cards done that I am in love with. I almost don't want to give them away! LOL! They are pretty much the same card just 2 different versions. The first was a Mother's Day version. The card is from Wild Card and the paper is Bazzill Bling. The Flowers are from Wedding solutions, leaves from Plantin Schoolbook, and letters are from Storybook.

The second version is just a general purpose card but I did it a little differently. The same cuts were used but on this one I used scribbles to glitter the scrolling and outline of the card.
